Solution: KERNEL_APC_PENDING_DURING_EXIT problem in Windows 11, 10

Some Windows 11 users complain of seeing a ‘KERNEL_APC_PENDING_DURING_EXIT’ error message on their computers when the system enters BSOD and finally reboots. It just means that a thread was fired even though a call to an async process was still pending. If you are one of the affected users, don’t worry. Mainly third party apps are the reason behind this problem. Just follow these fixes to resolve the problem on your computer.

Solution 1: uninstall recently installed third-party software

If you installed third-party software recently, uninstall it and check.

1. At first, press the Tecla de Windows + R keys together.

2. Then write «appwiz.cpl“And click”OK“.

3. When the Program and Features window appears, look for third-party applications that you recently installed.

4. Then right-click on the application and tap «Uninstall”To uninstall the application.

After uninstalling the application, close the Program and Features window. Later, restart your computer. Check the status of the problem.

Solution 2: run an SFC scan

Running a System File Checker tool to scan system files and correct them in due process.

1. At first, press the Windows key and write «cmd“.

2. Then, right-click on the «Symbol of the system“And click”Execute as an administrator“.

3. At the beginning, writes this command in terminal and press Get into to run the DISM check.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

This process will take a while.

3. After running the DISM scan, catch this command and hit Get into to run an SFC scan.

sfc /scannow

After executing the scan operation, you will not see the error code again.

Solution 3: test your disk

If running the SFC check does not resolve your problem, run a disk check operation.

1. At first, press the Tecla de Windows + R keys together.

2. Then write «cmd«And press Ctrl + Shift + Enter keys together to open the terminal with administrative privileges.

3. Now, to write this command and then press Get into to run a check disk operation. Press «AND«And hit Get into again to run the disk check tool.

chkdsk C: /f /r /x

Close the command prompt terminal and restart your machine. Windows will check the disk once your system restarts to detect any kind of failure and fix it in the process.

Solution 4: run a RAM test

There is a possibility that there is a problem with the RAM.

1. At first, press the Tecla de Windows + R keys together.

2. Just write «mdsched“And click”OK“.

3. You will notice two options here.

If you touch the «Restart now and check for problems (recommended)”, Your computer will immediately restart and check for problems.

Solution 5: use a recent system restore point

You can use a system restore point to restore your system when there was no BSOD code in the first place.

1. At first, press the Tecla de Windows + R keys together.

2. Then write «rstrui«And hit Get into.

3. When the System Restore window opens, you will have two options.

4. You can use the «Recommended restoration:»Option. Windows will automatically determine the optimal restore point.

4. On the other hand, you can also select «Choose a different restore point“.

5. After that, check mark the “Show more restore points” box.

You will see more restore points on your screen.

6. Here choose such a restore point when this BSOD was not there.

7. After that, tap «next“To continue.

7. Simply click on «End up”To finalize the process.

Your computer will restart and Windows will restore to the normal state.
