SPP and ExxonMobile signed a contract for the supply of LNG to Slovakia
PRAGUE, 8 you — PRIME. Representatives of the Slovak company SPP and ExxonMobile signed an agreement in Rome on Thursday on the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Slovakia through Italy, the signing was attended by Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger, who timed his visit to Rome to coincide with this event, Bratislava TV channel TA3 reported.
“After signing the contract, Heger told reporters that this document would provide Slovakia with the supply of 10% of the country’s gas storage facilities. According to the prime minister, LNG will enter the country in the last quarter of 2022 and the first quarter of 2023. At the same time, Heger noted the low price of LNG, which will allow , according to him, to keep affordable prices for the population,” the message says.
In turn, SPP CEO Richard Prokipchak said that Slovakia had already provided itself with gas reserves for the entire autumn-winter period.
