Startup STIPS Oculus Launches Free BTC Whale Transaction Tracking Service

The cryptocurrency community has always been interested in large transactions in bitcoins, and there are several services that monitor such events.

As a rule, tens of hundreds of thousands of BTC are followed by discussions about how this can affect the growth or decline of the exchange rate, experts are invited to forecast, etc. Moreover, most of these hypotheses are based on an intuitive understanding of the market.

The STIPS | Oculus blockchain startup team has created a free service called Blockchain Screener (hereinafter referred to as the screener), which allows determining with percentage accuracy the relationship of transactions on any BTC wallet with the dynamics of the BTC price change. For example, you can enter the wallet you are interested in into the system and see how, after incoming or outgoing transactions, the price changed in periods of 1,2,6,24 hours in percentage terms.

Consider the work of the screener on the example of the largest BTC wallet owned by the Binance exchange.

In the picture from the screener, it can be seen that with incoming transactions to this wallet, the BTC price drops by an average of -4.9% within 24 hours. What does this mean for traders and investors? This wallet shows an excellent correlation between transactions and price changes. It makes sense to put notifications on the incoming transactions of this wallet (such a function is present in the screener) and when they are triggered, as well as analyzing other indicators used in trading, make a balanced trading decision based on a fundamental indicator (which can include asset transfers on wallets).

For those who want to receive information quickly, launched Twitter account, where large transactions (from 500 BTC) are laid out automatically with an analysis of their correlation with the price of bitcoin.

Thus, for everyone who is interested in large transactions, and who monitors them, a real tool appears that shows the value of such transactions, based on a historical analysis of the price of an asset.
