TEKKEN Masters Tournament in Tokyo was postponed |
Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc has been forced to make the decision to postpone the Tekken Masters Tournament that was to take place in the city of Tokyo. This, as a precaution to protect the health of both competitors, staff and event attendees due to possible exposure to the Coronavirus (COVID –19)

Following is Bandai Namco Entertainment’s statement.


Starting from a precautionary position and making an effort to safeguard the health and safety of competitors, event staff, and audience members from possible exposure to the Coronavirus (COVID-19); BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc. has made the difficult decision to postpone its TEKKEN Masters Tournament in Tokyo for a later date in 2020.

Due to the highly dynamic nature surrounding the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) and the implications it has had for global health, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc. will take all possible considerations into account before reprogramming the TEKKEN Masters Tournament in Tokyo. Our goal and focus is to provide safe and healthy conditions for all of our tournaments.
