Test: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT – RDNA 2 occupies the middle class

AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT follows up last year’s Radeon RX 5600 XT and places itself with its intended price tag of 379 USD, between competitor Nvidia’s mid-range Geforce RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti. AMD has set its sights on a high frame rate when playing in 1080p and e-sports titles, which can be seen on its stripped-down memory bus and smaller Infinity Cache.

The current situation in the graphics card market means that recommended prices from both camps rarely reach the end consumers. Even if the availability is starting to look better, it is still not a matter of course that the one you want is in stock. In other words, AMD has an opportunity to take part of the market with a card that is clearly below the SEK 5,000 mark and which is actually available for purchase.

Is the Radeon RX 6600 XT an affordable alternative for those who want to deal with gaming and 1080p? Join us and we’ll find out together.
