As can be seen from the characteristics, the Carbide 270R is really very classic, whether in terms of its dimensions with 50.0 cm in length, 46 cm in height and 21 cm in width or even in its weight of about 6.3 kg , it is clearly not a heavyweight, cost reduction requires.
It accepts motherboards in ATX format, and of course smaller versions such as micro ATX and mini ITX. In addition to the ATX motherboard, the internal components will have the right to be overweight, 37 cm long for the graphics card and 17 cm high for the cooler, there is no doubt that the Carbide 270R is intended for a configuration of the type ” gamer ”.
In terms of storage, the box is not the most spacious, indeed with 2 3.5 ″ and 2 2.5 ″ slots it will be necessary to forget the storage servers, but this is clearly not the goal anyway. of the case. Even if it seems meager 99% of users will have what it takes to install their disk (s). As most of the new boxes on the market, the 5.25 ″ slots are no longer available, so you have to either do without them or go through an external drive.
The ventilation is assigned as standard to 1 red LED fan of 12 at the front (on the version with window, nothing for the version without window) and 1 fan of 12 cm at the rear, this should create a flow of air. air sufficient for the vast majority of configurations. In addition to this it is possible to add 2 fans of 12 cm at the front for a total of 3 (or 2 x 14 cm), 2 fans of 12 or 14 cm on the top, what to see coming. It is of course possible to install watercooling radiators, namely up to 360mm at the front, 240mm above and 120mm at the rear.
Offered at a price of € 67.90 and € 64.90 with or without window, respectively, the 270R has characteristics that will suffice for the vast majority of uses, it will be necessary to see if it defends itself in the tests!

The cardboard could not be more classic, on the front there is a diagram of the beast as well as a small spiel on its strengths and at the back an exploded view of all the parts so that the buyer faces a more precise idea of the construction of the thing.

When opening the box we fall on the box in its plastic bag caught between 2 polystyrene molds to ensure the safest possible transport.

At the bundle level, only the necessary is present, a quick installation guide as well as of course the necessary screws and a small handle of plastic cable ties, nothing superfluous here!
