Thanks to its innovations, Hisense has reduced its CO2 emissions by thousands of tons per year

Hisense has summed up its initiatives to protect the environment. The innovations introduced by them allowed to reduce not only the production of plastic, but also CO2 emissions.

More and more companies are joining the joint fight for the future of our planet. On the occasion of the recently concluded COP26 climate summit, Hisense prepared a summary of its activities, boasting (and rightly so) the innovations introduced to reduce CO2 emissions and reduce plastic production.

Hisense innovations have helped reduce CO2 emissions
by thousands of tons per year!

Already in 2018, the company made changes to the production of washing machines, reducing the use of HFC-245fa in the technology of insulating foams. Effect? Reduction of CO2 emissions by almost 6,000 tons. Another achievement was the reduction of the energy consumption of the 100-inch L5100 laser TV to approx. 250 W, which is just the beginning, because ultimately Hisense wants to go below 200 W. The company also focused on sustainable production, adapting to the principles of energy saving and environmental protection at all production stages. It also reduced plastic production by 4.6 thousand tonnes per year, or the equivalent of 514 million plastic bags.
