Thanks to the cooperation of mPay and PKP Intercity, we will buy train tickets even easier

As previously announced, from today, i.e. from May 31, we can buy tickets for PKP Intercity trains via the mPay application.

Thanks to the new cooperation, we can buy tickets for PKP Intercity journeys via the mPay application

The times when you had to queue at the ticket office to get a train ticket are over. Thanks to the fact that carriers undertake further cooperation, we get more and more opportunities. Now, in the case of PKP Intercity, we will also be able to use the mPay application. This, in turn, will also make life easier for people using mixed transport, because mPay also allows you to buy tickets for public transport. So you don’t need many applications, because we can have everything in one.

We are happy to find a new partner. The popularity of railways will continue to grow
in the coming years, therefore we strive to make the purchase of tickets for PKP Intercity connections as simple as possible. It is also a chance for our partners to cooperate on easy
and attractive rules, thanks to which they will gain even more users. We invite other entities that are interested in selling tickets for PKP Intercity connections to cooperate with us

says Tomasz Gontarz, Member of the Management Board of PKP Intercity.

The expansion of the ticket sales network is another step in the implementation of the PKP Intercity strategy, which, as one of the key objectives, sets the improvement and simplification of the passenger service process by introducing new digital solutions. In the coming years, PKP Intercity will introduce a modern ticket sales system, launch a loyalty program and intend to continue developing remote sales channels. Later this year, passengers will be able to use the new, easy-to-use PKP Intercity mobile application.
