The announced AYANEO Next console will see the next generation AMD APU?

It looks like the mobile console company AYANEO will be ahead of AMD in the presentation of the next-generation APU. Although we do not know exactly what the fact that the new AYANEO Next console will reach for the “next generation” AMD cores for gamers, it is fairly easy to decode.

The next-generation APU will go to the AYANEO Next console?

Currently, the flagship product in the AYANEO offer is the Neo 2021 Pro console, which uses the Ryzen 7 4800H APU to operate. This is an APU, offering an 8-core central processor and 8-computing units on the GPU side, but on the Vega architecture, which is a very old and inefficient basis compared to the RDNA2-based iGPU.

However, we know that AMD should announce new Ryzen 6000 processors codenamed Rembrandt at the beginning of CES 2022 (January 4). These will combine the updated Zen 3+ cores made in a 6nm process, but also iGPU based on RDNA2, which is exactly what was combined in SoC Aeirth for Steam Deck.

Although the AYANEO company has not clearly indicated whether AYANEO Next will use the Ryzen 5000 or Ryzen 6000 APU, looking at the competition, reaching for the new system is even necessary. We will know the truth on December 28, which is a week before the big AMD announcements at CES 2021.
