The announcement of the 9th generation Intel Core

As predicted, Intel has completed the tradition of many months of leaks and announced the 9th generation Intel Core processors. So this is the perfect moment to present them to you in a simple and legible table. But first, I invite you to a short introduction …

9th generation Intel Core

However, let’s condense it as much as possible by pointing out that the 9th-generation Intel Core consumer is actually a refreshment of the Coffee Lake series with changes in Intel’s policy itself. We are talking mainly about naming and what we can expect now from the i3, i5, i7 and i9 family. In general, it boils down to the fact that now only Intel Core i9 processors will be able to boast of Hyper Threading technology, that is, “splitting” one core into two threads. All systems are as follows, although we are sure only with the first three:

HEDT market, i.e. Basin Fall and Skylake-X

Typical consumers, however, are not all that Intel wants to squeeze its processors into. Hence the refreshed Basin Falls and Skylake-X series, which will hit workstations and PC units for enthusiasts. However, it’s damn expensive:

The server market is also waiting to refresh

Here, however, Intel has quite a nut to crack, because competing EPYC processors have messed up in the processor segment this year. Hence the powerful Intel Xeon W-3175X with 28 cores and 56 threads with a base clock of 3.1 GHz and 4.3 GHz in Boost mode. However, this is not all that the blue ones have prepared:

However, we are waiting for the tests of the latest Intel Core … which you will soon find on our website.
