The ASUS PC key is back: features and price of the new VivoStick

ASUS is ready to release a new version of VivoStick PC (TS10), the PC key announced in 2015 in the wake of the best known Intel Compute Stick which debuted the same year. The updated version has already appeared on the company's Japanese website with interesting news that certainly will not mind lovers of the genre. Compared to the first model, there are no changes from the chassis point of view, the design is practically identical as well as the Intel Cherry Trail SoC-based hardware platform (Airmont architecture).

On board then we will find the same 4-core Atom x5-Z8350 and with integrated Intel graphics, while the substantial news arrive on the memory and operating system department. RAM goes from 2GB to 4GB LPDDR3, the storage department doubles 32 to 64GB eMMC and the operating system now provides the option for Windows 10 Pro.

Among the other features of the VivoStick we point out the WiFi AC connectivity, two USB ports, one microUSB and HDMI video output; at the moment there are no details on the price, however we remember that the first version of VivoStick PC with Windows 10 debuted in Italy at a price of 179 euros to stabilize now at around 160 euros. The updated model could have a very similar cost.
