The first two Intel Arc desktop GPUs will arrive in March to compete against the RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3060 Ti.

While all indications were that Intel would wait until the second quarter of 2022 for the launch of its first Arc Alchemist graphics cards for the desktop, new rumors suggest that its two top models, based on DG2-512 and DG2-384, would arrive in March, a little earlier than expected.

The DG2-512 will be the top-of-the-line model in the first generation of Arc graphics, and will compete against the RTX 3070 Ti in both price and performance. As its name suggests, it will have a total of 512 Execution Units, and it would be accompanied by 16GB of GDDR6 memory at 18Gbps, a 256-bit bus, and would have a TGP of up to 275W according to the latest rumors.

On the side of the DG2-384 model, this model will compete against the RTX 3060 Ti and will have 384 Execution Units, 8GB of GDDR6 memory at 16Gbps, 256-bit bus, and a TGP of up to 200W, being a good option for 1080p at high frame rate or 1440p at 60Hz.

After these two models, in the second quarter the rest of the line would arrive, with models based on DG2-256, DG2-128, and DG2-96 aimed at the lower segment, and also a model based on DG2-448 to complete the space between the first two models.
