The founder of the DigiByte project insulted Justin Sun and Changpeng Zhao

A public conflict between Jared Tate, the founder of the DigiByte project, and Justin Sun, the founder of Tron, had unexpected consequences. The DigiByte (DGB) token was listed on the Poloniex exchange, where Sun recently invested.

The Poloniex exchange was sold by Circle in October. In mid-November Justin Sun acknowledged that he was one of the investors who contributed to the acquisition. After the Circle split, Poloniex listed TRX and purchased a decentralized exchange based on the Tron blockchain.

Since then, Poloniex has announced that it will no longer provide services to US citizens, which has sparked dissatisfaction with members of the crypto community.

Among them were Jared Tate, the founder of the DigiByte project. He posted on Twitter a series of messages criticizing Justin Sun, calling him a “scam”. Tate also said he is concerned that the personal data of him and other users is in the hands of Tron founder.

“I am disgusted by all these trolls and TRON boxes that attack me and support a 100% pre-mined and fully centralized network, as if it were the most decentralized gift from God. Now Poloniex has transformed into a TRX shill factory, after taking over the personal data of American customers. ”

The following day, the official Twitter account of Poloniex announced that it will list the DigiByte token:

“After careful review, we decided that #DigiByte does not meet our listing standards. We will soon remove DGB from the platform. Details will be announced later. “

The situation has generated multiple discussions in the crypto community, many of them dissatisfied with the influence Sun has on a major crypto exchange.

At the same time, this is not the first time that the DigiByte founder is in conflict with major companies in the crypto industry. Earlier this year, Tate criticized Binance for the large listing commissions it requests. Changpeng Zhao, however, refused to respond to the challenge.
