The Geforce GTX 680 sells 60 percent better than the GTX 580

Anyone looking for a Geforce GTX 680 must be prepared to search with light and lantern to come across a copy. At a meeting for investors, however, Nvidia does not talk about any capacity problems but believes that the graphics cards are simply selling out.

According to Nvidia, the Geforce GTX 680 sells as much as 60 percent better than its predecessor GTX 580 at the same period in the product’s life cycle, in this case about six weeks after launch. “Seller” means graphics cards delivered from partner manufacturers to distributors, resellers and system builders.

However, the Geforce maker does not state sales figures, but is content to state that the Kepler architecture is a success in all important respects, from performance to power consumption, sound level and heat generation. According to Nvidia, these claims are supported by the 50 highest-rated review sites in the world, which are to agree that Kepler is a step in the right direction.
