The Ministry of Digital Development has expanded the list of applications required for placement in RuStore

MOSCOW, 29 Sep — PRIME. The Russian Ministry of Digital Development has expanded the list of mobile applications that must be placed in the Russian RuStore store, the agency reports.

“The Ministry of Digital Development of Russia has expanded the list of mobile applications that must be placed in the Russian RuStore store,” the release says. It also indicates that the corresponding order is published on the portal of legal information.

So, the designated entry includes, among other things, applications created with the involvement of budget funds, among which, for example, “Gosuslugi” and several services related to “Government Services”, “Active Citizen”, “My Tax”, “Social Navigator”, ” Diary MES” and “Goskey”.

In addition, for placement in RuStore, according to the order, programs from the list of domestic software mandatory for pre-installation, programs from the list of domestic software and software of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union are required. Also, applications of news aggregators, audiovisual services, telecom operators, financial institutions, accredited IT companies are required to be placed in RuStore.
