The Ministry of Economy of Germany announced the reliability of gas supplies to Germany
MOSCOW, August 3 – PRIME. The German Economy Ministry took into account Gazprom’s latest reports on Nord Stream and stressed that the reliability of gas supplies to Germany is still guaranteed, reports dpa.
Germany clarifies when Nord Stream will resume
On Friday, Gazprom said that it had received a warning from Rostekhnadzor about a malfunction of the only remaining working engine for the pipeline, and the pipeline was completely stopped until the comments were eliminated.
“The situation in the gas market is tense, but the security of supply is guaranteed,” a spokesman for the ministry told the agency on Friday evening.
The representative of the department also added that the Ministry of Economy took into account the latest reports of Gazprom, but the ministry “does not comment on them in essence.”
“We continue to unwaveringly and consistently implement our measures to strengthen our independence from Russian energy imports. As a result, we are now much better equipped than a few months ago,” the ministry said.
