The Ministry of Natural Resources announced a change in the volume of explored oil and gas reserves

MOSCOW, 19 Sep — PRIME. The volume of explored natural gas reserves in the territory of the Russian Federation decreased by 6.32% in 2021, while crude oil reserves increased by 0.11%, according to the draft state report of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources on the state and protection of the environment of the Russian Federation.

The head of the Ministry of Natural Resources said that Russia has enough oil and gas resources

“The volume of explored fuel and energy reserves of mineral resources (crude oil, natural gas, coal and uranium) in 2021 compared to 2020 decreased in terms of natural gas, coal and uranium by -6.32%, -0.11% and – 0.41% respectively, and increased in crude oil reserves by 0.11%,” the report says.
