The number of Bitcoin ATMs has exceeded 6,000
The CoinATMRadar website shows that the number of Bitcoin ATMs has now reached 6,004 ATMs installed worldwide. Over 65% of them are located in the United States.
The United States has 3,924 ATMs, and Canada has 653. Of the 20% of BTC ATMs in Europe, the UK and Austria have the most: 272 and 189 respectively. Only 2% of the ATMs are located in Asia.
Not everyone is excited about the increase in the number of ATMs, especially in the United States.
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will expand the checks on the activity of companies that manage crypto ATMs. They are required to comply with the KYC / AML rules and identify the customers who use them.

Tether will seek to dismiss the NYAG allegations
Tether has released a letter of intent announcing that it will reject the allegations of manipulation of the crypto market. The lawsuit filed by the New York Attorney General’s Office (NYAG) claims damages of more than $ 1 trillion.
In the letter, Tether states that NYAG could not prove that Tether and Bitfinex manipulated the price of Bitcoin and that they contributed to the crypto market crash. They also rejected allegations that USDT is a monopoly on the stable cryptocurrency market or that they contributed to fraud.
