The Radeons RX 6000 will go even more expensive. All by AMD, or rather TSMC

On Board Channels forums, information appeared, according to which AMD informed its customers (companies like AMD, Gigabyte, and ASUS) that it intends to increase the price of its graphics cards. This in turn means that the Radeon RX 6000 will become even more expensive.

Due to the increase in production costs at the source, the Radeon RX 6000 will become more expensive

It is said that AMD raised the prices of GPUs for Radeon RX 6000 cards by 10%, which will make them cost from 20 to 40 dollars, i.e. 85-180 PLN more. The new prices will come into force with the next GPU shipment to partners, and partners will certainly compensate for these increased costs with appropriate increases in final products.

Perfect for this year’s holidays and ideally for the moment when, for the first time in many months, the AMD Radeon RX 6000 family was on average cheaper than the competition cards. However, contrary to appearances, this increase is not a sign of AMD’s greed. At least this narrative is being maintained, pointing to price increases in TSMC’s factories that have actually taken place recently.
