The retail price of diesel in Russia increased by 0.5 percent in September

MOSCOW, 7 Oct – PRIME. The average retail price of diesel fuel in Russia increased in September compared to August by 0.5%, gasoline – by 0.1%, according to Rosstat.

Inflation in Russia in September amounted to 0.05 percent

“Prices for diesel fuel rose by 0.5%, motor gasoline – by 0.1%,” the ministry said in a statement. Gas engine fuel prices rose by 4.3% at once. September inflation was 0.05%.

Since the beginning of the year, the cost of gasoline has grown by 0.77% with inflation of 10.46%, and compared to September last year, the price increase was 3.26%.

The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation expects that the demand for fuel in Russia will be fully satisfied this winter, and the fuel market will be balanced. Some increase in the cost of winter grades of fuel on the exchange, the ministry connects with seasonal factors – a cooling that began a little earlier than in previous years in most of the country.
