The Robinhood application offers compensation to affected users

The Robinhood application experienced several technical issues during March. On March 2, users were unable to complete orders or upload their portfolio lists and charts. The interruption of March 9 left the platform inoperable from 10:25 to 3:30 pm EDT, and on March 13 the application failed again.

On March 23, the Robinhood App sent users an email to apologize for the incident and to provide compensation to those affected. Specifically, the company credited customers using its premium feature, Robinhood Gold, with three months of free subscription. They announced that they intend to limit the credits to those who replied to the email and confirmed that they were affected by the incident.
