VLADIVOSTOK, Sep 7 – PRIME. The construction of the Paks-2 nuclear power plant in Hungary with the participation of Russia is planned to begin in the fall of 2023, Rosatom Director General Alexei Likhachev told reporters.
Hungary announces plans to reduce dependence on Russian gas
“Entering the” first concrete “- in the fall of next year,” Likhachev said on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.
Earlier, the Paks-2 NPP project received a license for the construction of nuclear units.
EEF-2022 takes place on September 5-8 on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University on Russky Island in Vladivostok. RIA Novosti acts as the general media partner of the forum.
