The wait for new NVIDIA video cards, including the GTX 1630, may still be long

According to what was reported by VideoCardzthe new video cards NVIDIA GeForce RTX of the 4000 series they would be behind schedule. Based on an embargo that emerged and published by the portal, Nvidia would have postponed the launch of the new VGAs, including the GTX 1630 scheduled for June 15.

According to VideoCardz sources, NVIDIA would have blocked the launch of the GTX 1630 only a few days before of the official date, while the GTMK kits (Go To Market Kit) for the partners have already been shipped and the cards produced and in the validation phase.

The internal report, again according to what is reported by the sources, would mention a problem in ensuring some essential parts that do not directly concern the graphics processor, but presumably other components to be installed on the PCB. For this reason, NVIDIA would have asked all partners to postpone the launch, but without specifying a new release date. In fact, in the table it is possible to read the acronym TBD (To Be Determined), i.e. a new launch date has not yet been established.

In the case of the 4000 series, however, it seems to be confirmed slippage of one month for all the proposals in the range. This means that the RTX 4090 will be made available to Septemberthe 4080 in October and finally the 4070 in November. However, even in this case they would be provisional dates.

The reason could be theout of stock accumulated with the current generation of RTX 3000 series video cards. The strategy, in this case, would be to dispose of the largest number of units currently available and only later make room for the new cards. In this case it would be plausible to expect a consistent price cut on the current generation, but even in this case NVIDIA does not mention anything about it leaving everything in suspense.
