Testing tools and methodology

For a more visual comparison of systems, games used as test applications were run at resolutions of 1920 x 1080 and 2560 x 1440.

The FPS Monitor Build 5102 and AutoHotkey v1.0.48.05 utilities were used as performance measurement tools. In all games were measured 1% instant (rare events) and average FPS values. Vertical sync was disabled during tests.

This testing has shown that Intel’s quad-core processors are a good purchase option. For the budget segment, they are moderately expensive. However, all the cheap competitors performed disappointingly poorly in most games. Against their background, the Core i3-10105F and Core i3-10100F processors, supporting 4/8 threads, emerged as the undisputed leaders. Both in sheer performance and attractiveness to buy.
