We show you the specifications of the new RTX 2060 12GB

As we have already informed you for some time, the reappearance of this graph with more memory has been rumored, today it is official and we show you the specifications of the new RTX 2060 12GB.

It has been NVIDIA itself who has officially listed this new graphics card on its website RTX 2060 12GB. This new version will have 12GB and will have 2176 CUDA cores.

From what we can see in the image below, this new 12GB RTX 2060 will have a base clock of 1470 MHz and a boost clock of 1650 MHz. Both CUDA Cores clock speeds are identical for RTX 2060 12GB and RTX. 2060 SUPER.

The surprising thing is that this new model will be equipped with 12 GB GDDR6 memory connected to a 192-bit memory bus. This means that the card will have a maximum memory bandwidth of 336 GB / s, which translates to a reduction of 112 GB / s compared to the RTX 2060 SUPER.

NVIDIA has used the Turing 12 nm architecture and features TU106 GPU with ray tracing and DLSS support. On the other hand, it must be taken into account that this model will not have of some new features such as Resizable BAR, PCI Express 4.0 o RT y Next-generation color tensor.

Due to the larger capacity of the memory subsystem, the card officially has 185W TDP is 25W more than the vanilla 6GB model and 10W more than RTX 2060 SUPER.

In terms of pricing, NVIDIA has yet to reveal the price of the new card, however a short statement has been provided to The Verge:

It’s a premium version of the 6GB RTX 2060 and we hope the price reflects that.

The new RTX 2060 12GB is expected to have a high price due to the current situation and will also have founders and custom models from several assemblers, and until they officially announce it we will not know the exact price, but unfortunately we doubt that can be obtained cheaply or easily.
