Which iPhone Should You Go for

You are looking to buy an iPhone, and why not? Most of the iPhone models come with powerful performances, incredible camera systems, and other handy features to be used in your day-to-day lives. We have compiled a list of things that stand out in each of the iPhone series and you can decide on the one that best suits your needs.

But before we delve into the list, let us stress the importance of quality internet on the functioning of online apps on any iPhone. If you do not have a good internet connection, no app will work well no matter how good your phone is. For this purpose, we recommend Xfinity internet plans as it is both affordable and high-quality. Now let us dive straight into comparing different iPhones.

But first, older iPhone – Resell it

However, if you already have an older version of the iPhone and are looking to upgrade to the newest version, you can trade it to Apple for a small discount. Or you could also sell it elsewhere for more money. iPhone has an incredible value in the markets, especially if they are in good condition. Make sure to back up your iPhone data, or factory reset it before selling it.

Apple iPhone SE (2022)

If you are into the physical home button to unlock your phone like the older iPhones, instead of Face ID on your Apple iPhone, you’ll get that in Apple SE (2022). However, it is still a lot more powerful than the older iPhones as it contains the same A15 Bionic processor as the iPhone 13 models.

The single-lens rear camera has also been upgraded, having many features that are the same as in iPhone 13, but it doesn’t support night mode. Other than that, the headphone jack is non-existent and it has wireless charging. All of the above features make it a budget phone, costing $429 at Apple.

Apple iPhone 13

iPhone 13 is the latest model that was released last year in September 2021. Apple introduced a few features taken from previous Pro models which include sensor-shift stabilization and 128 GB of base storage. There is one new feature though which is called Cinematic Mode, which uses the Portrait Mode with videos, adding blur effect around the subject. It also has an A15 Bionic chip, is water-resistant, has 5G service, and also maintains a MagSafe accessory system, selling at $799 at the Apple Store.

Apple iPhone 13 Mini

This version of the Apple iPhone is the smallest one, suitable for those who don’t prefer giant phones. Along with having a Face ID feature for unlocking, the phone has a larger 5.4-inch OLED screen for something that is a small phone. It has all the features of the Apple iPhone 13, except for its battery life. It is being sold for $699 at the Apple Store.

Apple iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max

There is a good reason why either of these phones cost $1000. For one, they’re designed with a mixture of glass and stainless steel, making them durable. The Max has a 6.7-inch large OLED screen, suitable for those who prefer the biggest display, whereas the Pro has a 6.1-inch OLED screen. These OLED screens are brighter, but that doesn’t even impact the batteries allowing them to last longer. The triple-camera system includes a 3X optical zoom camera, and also the night mode. These three sensors can take in lights, even in lower light scenarios. Gamers might find that the extra graphic core helps their demanding games play better than the iPhone 12 Pro. Finally, Apple has also introduced a new color to choose from for this model: the alpine green color.

What iPhones to avoid?

Older iPhones (such as XS, XR, X, 8, 7, 6S, SE 2016) might be available somewhere, but you shouldn’t buy them and there are a couple of reasons why. These iPhone models do not have the processing power to keep up with the latest updates and software. They have a shorter shelf life as well.

Apple has stopped manufacturing iPhone 6 and older models and even cut them off from receiving iOS 14 and higher updates. Without the latest updates, your older iPhones are less secure and contain a lot of bugs. The cameras aren’t that refined either to be used for photographing.

So there you have it. The best and latest iPhones that you can go for. Some of the common features that you already know of are fingerprint scanners, water resistance, wireless charging, etc. which make the Apple iPhones stand out from others.

Last-Minute

Now that you have decided on what kind of iPhone you want to go for, you might also need a SIM card. Our recommendation is to go with Xfinity Mobile services since it works best with all iPhone models, given the 5G technology being provided.
