World of Volvo, a plan for an innovative Volvo facility for visitors

We got to know the details of the new innovative Volvo facility in the form of World of Volvo, which will be built in Sweden on the basis of a project prepared by Henning Larsen Architects. According to the plans, its construction will end at the end of 2023, and the first visitors will be able to visit it already in 2024.

This is how the unique facility of the Swedish manufacturer famous for security will look like. Take a look at the World of Volvo

World of Volvo will take the form of three tree-stump structures set in a densely landscaped plot of land covering a total area of 22,000 square meters. It will house the main exhibition presenting the history of the Volvo Group and Volvo Cars, as well as a collection of pristine classic cars, exhibition areas, a bar, restaurant, conference center and work area.

The tree-trunk-like wooden structures that will make up the main body of the building will be framed by a curved glass façade. This will ensure the maximum amount of daylight in the interior and ensure a close connection with the surrounding landscape, making it easier for the company to meet the LEED Gold standard for green buildings.
