Acer is ready to make Intel video cards: Arc A770 Predator BiFrost is particular
Acer enter the world of dedicated video cards embracing the offer Intel Arc. The Taiwanese company has anticipated the arrival of one on Twitter Arc A770 custom from the Predator series. For now there is no information, except the rendering of a card which, at first glance, appears to have a particular cooling system.
In fact, on board we see two fans, but one appears to be of the “blower” type while the other is of the axial type. It will be interesting to understand how Acer has managed to combine the two types of fans in terms of cooling and noise. For the rest we find two 8-pin power connectors, an “upgrade” over Intel’s Limited Edition version which always includes two, but one is 6-pin. In theory, the higher energy delivery should favor a better overclock.
In the past few hours, Intel has stated that Arc A770 will be available in the United States and some countries from 12 October in the Limited Edition version for 349 dollars with 16 GB of memory. Partner solutions, on the other hand, will arrive in the following weeks starting with $ 329 and with “only” 8 GB.
As for the rest of the specs, the Arc A770 is based on one GPU ACM-G10 at 6 nanometers with 32 Xe-core, integrates 32 ray tracing units, 512 XMX Engine and the memory operates at 17.5 Gbps on the 256-bit bus. The TBP is equal to 225W. The Arc A770 delivers performanceaccording to Intel, higher than the GeForce RTX 3060 by NVIDIA: more information on this has been released in the past few hours and can be found here.
