MOSCOW, 1 Oct — PRIME. Gas deliveries under Gazprom Export contracts through Austria have been stopped due to the refusal of the Austrian operator to confirm transport nominations, Gazprom reported. This is due to regulatory changes that were introduced in the country at the end of September, the company explained.
Italian Eni: Gazprom announced the impossibility of supplying gas on Saturday
“Transportation of Russian gas under the contracts of Gazprom Export LLC through the territory of Austria has been suspended due to the refusal of the Austrian operator to confirm the transport nominations,” Gazprom’s Telegram channel said in a statement.
Gazprom added that the company is working on solving the problem together with Italian buyers.
Earlier, the Italian Eni reported that Gazprom would not be able to supply gas to Italy on Saturday because of the “impossibility of transporting it” through Austria.
