Actual volatility (volatility) is an indicator used to show the magnitude of daily price movements both up and down in a given period. The indicator almost rocketed for the Bitcoin network last week and reached the highest level in 3 years.
The crypto analytics firm Skew Markets team shared a chart, noting that the price of Bitcoin did not vary this much in three years.

The company’s shared graffiti shows the volatility in 10-day, 1-month, 3-month and one-year periods. The current volatility far exceeds the turbulent periods in July 2017 and even December 2017.
This type of crazy volatility can be explained by market panic and the shortage of liquidity after big sales on both derivatives and spot exchanges.
New “Records” May Be On The Road
Unfortunately, it is too early to say that the collapse in the market is over and volatility will drop. As some top analysts have explained, the extreme fear situation in the markets correlates very strongly with cryptocurrency prices, classic markets, especially stocks and ounce of gold.
While the Fed’s last intervention to the market and the markets not responding positively to this demonstrate the gravity of the situation, the continuing decline in the crypto money market is considered to be on the way of new disasters.
