ADATA XPG shows a DDR5 memory kit overclocked to 8118 MT / s

There is less and less time for the launch of DDR5 ram memory for enthusiasts, and it seems that ADATA XPG already has everything ready for this launch, and is even already testing the overclocking capacity of these modules, which looks very promising.

As the company showed, it was already able to overclock its DDR5 modules to 8118MT / s with CL50 latency, compared to 6800 MT / s with C46 latency that the XMP profile of this particular kit has.

Another capture was also shown where a kit with an XMP profile from 5200 MT / s with CL38 latency was overclocked to 8104 MT / s with CL52 latency, so it seems that several kits will be able to pass 8000MT / s without problem.

The company plans to launch modules with XMP profiles of up to 12000 MT / s in the future, although these will arrive once the DDR5 ecosystem including motherboards, CPUs, and the memory chips themselves have already evolved a bit more and already these high speeds are supported. Meanwhile, the XMP speeds will be more conservative, and will have to resort to overclocking to reach higher speeds.

What do you think about these overclocking results shown by ADATA? Do you plan to upgrade to any DDR5 platform soon?
