AMD 4800S Desktop Kit upgrades your GPU and is coming soon

The AMD 4800S that comes to be an Xbox Series X will go on sale

If you ever wondered what it would be like to have an Xbox Series X in a PC chassis, here it is, because the AMD 4800S Desktop Kit improves your GPU and is coming soon.

This model would be an evolution of the previous model called AMD 4700S. This 4800S we can install if we wish, a dedicated graphics.

The great news that it brings us today is that it has been AMD itself who has confirmed it, because as we can see in the image below, in the fine print of today’s AMD community publication on the introduction of the technology Radeon Super Resolution (RSR), the company indicated that the new 4800S Desktop Kit will support Smart Access Memory technology.

Also, let’s not forget that these kits are using chips from repurposed current-gen consoles like the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

What we liked the most about this kit is that compared to the previous model that only accepted PCIe 2.0, this one has PCIe 4.0. Thanks to this and as we previously informed you, it is very possible that a PowerColor Radeon RX 6600 graphics card will be included with this kit.

The board looks like it will be made by Taiwanese manufacturer MSI, plus it will include an M.2 slot and a Wi-Fi card.
