AMD Catalyst 15.11 Beta optimizes for Call of Duty: Black Ops III

The fact that AMD is planning a new Radeon Software Crimson does not mean that the classic driver Catalyst will really disappear yet. So far, the same well-known package applies, in the usual order with periodic launches to cover the latest major releases on the gaming front.

This time the turn comes to Catalyst 15.11 Beta. The software follows up on the month-old Catalyst 15.10 Beta and solves several bugs, among other things. These include problems with Youtube, Oculus Rift and the strategy game Ashes of the Singularity.

News is also common on the performance front – Catalyst 15.11 contains optimizations for the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops III. However, not everything is gold and green forests with the new game. AMD flags that the title can still give flashing textures when multiple graphics cards are running in Crossfire.

AMD Catalyst 15.11 Beta is available for download from the company’s website. The software works with Windows 7 or later in both 32 and 64 bits.
