AMD incorporates support for automatic overclocking in its drivers Adrenalin 2020 21.9.1

In case the support for Smart Access Memory in the Radeon RX 5000 and the compatibility with Windows 11 were not enough news for the new drivers Radeon Adrenalin 2020 21.9.1, AMD added an automatic overclocking tool in the Radeon Software tool included with these new drivers, allowing you to increase the performance of your system with a single click.

This automatic overclocking utility is compatible not only with Radeon RX 6000 GPUs, but also with Ryzen 5000 CPUs, allowing you to increase the performance of both to get the most out of the system. Unfortunately there is no support for other series of GPUs yet, and AMD has yet to comment on future support.

To use this tool, you will have to go to the Performance tab, select the Tuning option, and enable the Auto Overclock option in the Tuning Control section. Once enabled, in the CPU section you can choose whether to overclock the CPU or leave its default settings, and in the GPU section you can choose whether to undervolting, overclock the GPU and / or VRAM, or leave the settings for default, having the ability to customize the overclocking to the maximum and then let it be applied with a single button.

You can download the Radeon Adrenalin 2020 21.9.1 drivers and check the full release notes on the official AMD website by clicking here.

What do you think about this new overclocking tool from AMD? Are you going to use it to increase the performance of your Ryzen 5000 and your Radeon RX 6000?
