According to information to Kitguru from resellers, AMD is said to be planning a price reduction of the Radeon R9 Fury within the next few weeks. Exactly how much it is about is not clear, but the report claims that AMD is still considering what level the graphics card should go to.
That AMD wants to lower the price of the Radeon R9 Fury despite good pricing against the Geforce GTX 980 is explained, according to information to SweClockers, with the price range being hard pressed by Nvidia’s second graphics card in the enthusiast class. In any case, in Sweden, many instead turn to the cheaper Geforce GTX 970 or pay extra for a GTX 980 Ti, where sales volumes are many times better than the GTX 980.
