AMD Radeon VII – first out at 7 nanometers

Just over a year and a half after the launch of the Radeon RX Vega 64 and RX Vega 56, the architecture returns in a smaller format. More specifically, it is about TSMC’s long-awaited 7-nanometer technology that will provide better energy efficiency and performance compared to Globalfoundry’s 14 nanometers, which has been the basis for AMD’s circuits in recent years.

SweClockers welcomes AMD’s new flagship Radeon VII to the test lab, where it will pass the editorial board’s test suite. The newcomer is equipped with a seemingly lavish cooler with three fans, which is also the only variant that will be sold in stores also from partner manufacturers.

It’s time to see what the world’s first 7 nanometer graphics circuit is for!
