AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3980X, 48 cores for the TRX4 socket

Since the arrival of the TRX4 socket, which is capable of housing the new Threadripper based on Zen 2, with up to 64 cores and 128 threads in the next TR 3990X, a model in addition to the CPU-Z 1.91 could be seen the 3 already known for this socket, a 4th that would be the TR 3980X with up to 48 cores and 96threads, a model that would fill the space of 32 to 64 cores that could be below $ 3000 USD, a model that goes directly to compete with the Intel Xeon of this range.

This new TR 3980X that appears as a real surprise would be built under 8 CCDs based on Zen 2, this would deliver 6 cores for each one (3 per CCX). This model would be competing with the Xeon -3175W (28c / 56h) which is around $ 3000 USD.
