AMD updates game packages with Resident Evil 3 and Monster Hunter World

It’s not just process technologies in nanometers and the number of computing units that graphics card manufacturers AMD and Nvidia are competing for. To make the companies’ graphics cards even more attractive, game packages that come with the purchase, so-called bundles, are often offered.

Until now, AMD has offered games such as Borderlands 3, Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Gears 5, but now in February the game packages will be updated with fresh game titles. All current graphics cards positioned over the Radeon RX 550 receive a three-month Xbox Game Pass, which provides access to a wide library of games.

There, however, the similarities end, and the packages are quickly segmented up depending on the graphics card. The budget model Radeon RX 5500 XT comes with the upcoming Resident Evil 3, the recently launched Warcraft III: Reforged and the high-tech shooting game Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

For the more high-performance Radeon RX 5700 and big brother RX 5700 XT, both Ghost Recon and the new edition of Warcraft III are deleted, while Resident Evil 3 is retained. Also included is the critically acclaimed Monster Hunter World, which includes both the base game and the frosty expansion Iceborne.

The game packages are available through participating retailers from 4 February, and the promotion runs until 25 April. It is worth mentioning that the fresh Radeon RX 5600 XT looks to be without any gaming package.
