The charity was already accepting donations in cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero and Zcash, for some time. The use of BTCPay Server it will therefore allow him to streamline the procedure, while making it more respectful of privacy.
Other NGOs like Unicef are also very crypto-friendly. The latter recently launched a fund powered by crypto donations that invests in open source technologies that benefit children around the world.
In December, Square Crypto, the Bitcoin company from Jack dorsey, awarded grants to developers of BTCPay Server.
