Android Nougat in a couple of weeks

And while a significant part of phone and tablet manufacturers are rolling out the Nougat update today, some are planning an update only in the spring. And today we also learned that the Nvidia Shield Tablet is ready for its Android 7.0 in the next few weeks.

Nvidia is also poised to roll out Android 7.0 with the Shield Android TV, but the manufacturer is promising Android 7.0 on board the Shield Tablet. At the same time, the Shield Tablet and Tablet K1 are in standby mode for new software. The Nvidia Shield Hub account on Google+ says the update is coming soon. The message was initiated by a question from a fan, to which the editors replied that the update will arrive on tablets in the next “few weeks”.

At the same time, the original Shield Tablet could probably skip the update, as it is a fairly old tablet that has gone through all the update deadlines. Android 7.0 should bring security updates to Nvidia tablets, revamped notifications and quick settings menus, increased battery life and Multi Windows mode. It’s also worth noting that the release of the update to the new Shield devices won’t go smoothly initially, but let’s stay optimistic.
