Arc A770 Limited Edition exists, here are the photos. A slide reveals: Intel doesn’t have a high end

Having given a taste of the Arc A750’s capabilities, Intel confirmed the existence of another Limited Edition based on the model Arc A770. Tom Petersen and Ryan Shrout visited the WAN Show at LinusTechTips and they showed the model, without however going into benchmarks and performance comparatives.

The Arc A770 Limited Edition does present with a dual-slot dual-fan heatsink, with a backplate that entirely covers the back. The board has a bar running along the sides and a logo with RGB LEDs, both of which can be controlled by the Arc Control utility.

The heatsink, according to Intel, is more than enough for keep the GPU below 70 ° C under full load in gaming. As for the rear outputs, we see a standard configuration that includes three DisplayPort and one HDMI 2.1. Finally, the power supply is entrusted to a double 8 + 6 pin connector.

There was no talk of positioning or technical specifications during the show, but rumors run to our rescue. The Arc A770 Limited Edition should see an ACM-G10 GPU with 32 Xe-cores and 16/8 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus on board. The TDP should be 225W.

As for performance over the competition, one slide broadcast by Wccftech shows us that the A770 aims to compete with RTX 3060 Ti and Radeon RX 6650 XT in the range under $ 399. A step below we find the A750 which, as anticipated by Intel, challenges the RTX 3060 and the RX 6600 positioning itself closer to $ 300. As you can see, both models feature a higher TDP than their NVIDIA and AMD counterparts.

The other element that emerges from the slide is that the A750 has 8GB of memory, so not 12GB as previous rumors reported. The $ 200-299 range sees the presence of the Arc A580 with 8 GB and a TDP of 175W. The card should compete with the RTX 3050, but again NVIDIA’s solution could be ahead on the power consumption front thanks to the 130W TDP.

The Intel lineup finally provides Arc A380 e A310both with TDP of 75W. The first has already been marketed in Asia with 6 GB of memory and a 96-bit bus, while the second is expected to have 4 GB of memory on a 64-bit bus. The Arc A310, thanks to its contained specifications, aims to position itself in the range below 100 dollars.

Lastly, we point out that Intel’s Ryan Shrout has excluded with a tweet the existence of an Arc A780 model, a long topic of debate. In short, there does not seem to be an Arc solution on the horizon capable of competing with the RTX 3070/3070 Ti, let alone approaching the RTX 3080. All this, just a few months after the introduction of the new generation AMD and NVIDIA GPUs.
