Arctic to offer mounting kits for socket 1700 -

We are about to see the new Alder Lake microprocessors on the market, and as happened previously with AMD where heatsink manufacturers gave away anchors for the AM4 socket. This time Arctic will offer mounting kits for the socket 1700.

The market launch of the Intel Alder Lake series is expected soon. Along with the new CPUs, Intel also introduces the new LGA1700 socket with the socket base changed on the motherboard, as well as changes in the mounting height of the CPU cooler.

Starting in mid-October, ARCTIC will provide mounting kits for all models freezer 34, the whole series Liquid Freezer II, the Freezer 50, just like him Freezer i13 X and the Freezer i13 X CO. Replacing the mounting hardware will allow you to use your ARCTIC AiOs and air sinks with the newer Intel processors. In the future, most current CPU coolers will ship with the mounting kit for the Intel 1700 socket.

The assembly kits will be available from the arctic webstore for a service fee of € 5.99, and customers will receive the assembly completely free of charge upon presentation of a purchase receipt from the relevant processor.

On the other hand, ARCTIC will very soon launch a new heatsink with Alder Lake compatibility out of the box: the i35 A-RGB. The launch of the new Intel heatsink with addressable RGB is expected in late October.
