Asus and Noctua’s beige-brown graphics cards stick to the image

In August, Asus listed the product “RTX3070-8G-NOCTUA” in documents to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), which raised hopes of a collaboration with the radiator manufacturer Noctua. Based on the documents, it looked like a variant of Nvidia’s graphics card Geforce RTX 3070, but whether Nocuta’s distinctive earthy color scheme found its way into the design remained a mystery.

Now the mystery can be solved. In the Vietnamese Facebook group for Asus ROG, two pictures have been posted of what is alleged to be the fruit of the collaboration. The pictures really show a graphics card in the familiar brown-beige colors, which are meant to be for sale at least in Vietnam.

Based on the pictures, it looks like a real cooling device for those who have three expansion places to spare. In addition to two 8-pin connectors for power supply, the graphics card in the picture is also equipped with three full-size Display ports and two HDMI ports, both types of unknown version. In addition to the fans ‘two shades of brown and beige, the construction has a matching dark brown casing and both companies’ logos on each short side.

It is worth noting that these only appear to be product images where it cannot be ruled out that these are renderings. It can thus still be a concept. In the worst case, and to the great sorrow of many enthusiasts, it could also be a skilful forgery. The price in the ad is in any case 26 million Vietnamese dong (VND), which corresponds to approximately 9,990 kronor.
