For enthusiasts who like smaller builds in the form factor Mini ITX, Asus introduced earlier this year the Geforce GTX 670 DirectCU Mini, which measures only 17 centimeters. During the spring and early summer, Nvidia introduced its new GTX 700 series and with this, Asus replaces its short graphics card.

The new model is a Geforce GTX 760 and is thus based on the GK104 graphics processor with 1,152 CUDA cores. The smaller number of cores is compensated by a higher clock frequency of 1,006 MHz (1,072 MHz Boost), which according to Asus will give the graphics card similar performance to its predecessor. The memory bus stays at 256-bit and is accompanied by 2 GB of GDDR5 memory at 6,008 MHz.
Otherwise, it is exactly the same graphics card as before, with power supply according to the concept “Direct Power”. It should provide more stable voltages and eliminate the risk of resonance from the coils, better known as Coil Whine. Power is supplied through a single 8-pin PCI Express connector.
The Asus Geforce GTX 760 DirectCU Mini will be in stores early next week at the recommended retail price of SEK 2,449.
