ASUS, in development of new video cards with heatsink developed by Noctua

Noctua and ASUS they are collaborating to accomplish new custom video cards after the ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition. The confirmation comes from the Twitter account of the Austrian company, after an enthusiast’s question about their intention to build a “RTX 3080 Ti with your fans”.

There is no further information, but we know that the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti should arrive on the NVIDIA side, after a few months of unspecified delay following the announcement at CES 2022, while on the AMD front a refresh of several video cards of the 6000 series.

Therefore, there could already be an opportunity for the two companies to announce some joint news in the short term. If this is not the case, then we will have to wait until the last part of the year (or the beginning of 2023), when NVIDIA and AMD will present their respective new generations of GPUs, Ada Lovelace and RDNA 3.

For their first collaboration Noctua and ASUS have decided to start with a high-end card, but not very high, like the GeForce RTX 3070.
