Asus reveals the performance of the Intel Core i9-10900K on Cinebench R15

Companies always leak some extra information, and just like Gigabyte, the support for Rocket Lake-S escaped on Z490 motherboards, Asus accidentally revealed the performance of the new Intel Core i9-10900K on Cinebench R15.

As this slide reveals, The i9-10900K scores 2,645 points in the Multi-Core test and 222 points in the Single-Core test. This means that it outperforms the i9-9900K by 30% in Multi-Core, being a good performance advantage.

Unfortunately the Ryzen with which Asus compared is not very relevant, since it belongs to another price segment, so I we will share our Ryzen 9 3900X scores that belongs to the same segment of U $ S 500. This CPU from AMD achieves 220 points in Single-Core and some 3150 Multi-Core points at the same price point, and also offers support for PCI-E 4.0, being a better option if we are interested in multi-core performance. For games and other tasks that do not take advantage of the 12 cores and 24 threads of the 3900X, Intel is surely the best option thanks to its high frequencies, so it depends a lot on the use of the user which option to recommend.

For now this is just a small preview, and we recommend waiting for the full reviews to see how the i9-10900K performs in other aspects.

What do you think of this first look at the i9-10900K? Do you think it has a good performance?
