We've already seen leaks from the Asus Z490 Prime and Z490 TUF, and now the images and specs from its premium ROG Maximus XII lineup, designed to get the most out of Intel's new Comet Lake-S processors, have leaked.
The line will be made up of the Maximus XII Apex, Hero (Wi-Fi), Formula, Extreme, and a new Extreme Glacial model, which does not appear in the photograph so we do not know well how it will look.
All models will support 4800MHz RAMS, unlike the Apex which will support 5000MHz +. The Extreme will have 4 M.2 while the remaining models will have three, and all will have high-speed Ethernet, reaching 10Gb / s in the Extreme and Formula, 5Gb / s in the Hero, and 2.5Gb / s in the Apex. In addition all will support Wi-Fi 6.
As we already know, they will have the LGA 1200 socket, being designed for Comet Lake-S, and according to rumors, they will also be compatible with Rocket Lake-S. They are expected to be announced this April 30, with a market arrival on May 27.
