Atmospheric horror Dead Space 2 is 10 years old

Exactly 10 years ago, on January 25, 2011, the sequel to the horror Dead Space went on sale. It favorably differed from the original by the increased scale in all aspects. The game was well received by the public. On the review aggregator Metacritic The PC version of Dead Space 2 has an 87% critical rating, with an average rating from ordinary players almost the same – 8.4 out of 10

Unfortunately, the development of the Dead Space series ended in the third part, which was rightly criticized for microtransactions and vague co-op mode. Only Glen Scofield, the key developer of the horror trilogy, can come to the rescue. He is currently working on The Callisto Protocol, a project in the same genre set in the PUBG universe.

As for Dead Space 2, it was released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but thanks to backward compatibility technology, the project can definitely be tested on more current Xbox consoles.
