MOSCOW, Sep 23 — PRIME. The net profit of JSC Atomenergoprom (part of the state corporation Rosatom and consolidating civilian assets of the Russian nuclear industry) in the first half of the year fell almost three times compared to the same period last year – to 29.2 billion rubles from 82.3 billion, follows from the company’s financial statements.

The dollar fell to 57 rubles, the euro – below 55 rubles

Atomenergoprom’s revenue for the same period grew 1.2 times – up to 545 billion rubles from 438.7 billion.

“Including the dynamics of the group’s profit in the first half of 2022 was affected by the effect of exchange rate differences for the periods under review (the statements reflect the loss from exchange rate differences for the first half of 2022 in the amount of 57.6 billion rubles and in the amount of 8.9 billion rubles for the first half of last year),” Atomenergoprom explains.
