Cane Creek is investigating the potential for gravel bike rim brakes. It does this using the eeBrake prototype for large tires.
eeBrake are bicycle rim brakes for large wheels
Rim brakes, or “V-Brake” or rim brakes as you prefer, are not the choice for every bike, as some can hardly fit tires larger than 28 mm. Therefore, the aforementioned company designed and manufactured the prototype eeBrakes brakes, which were designed to fit tires up to 44 mm in size.

These brakes were apparently only a demonstration of the possibilities, because the company itself said that it did not plan to put them into production. This, of course, she could do if people started asking for a production version of eeBrakes, about which it’s hard to say – just specially designed rim brakes, which are part of the unique English Cycles bike.
